NZ like most Western countries has an aging population that is increasingly requiring social services, which coupled with well established international shortage of health professionals has lead to a demand for international candidate across all areas of health. Over the last 5 years there has been a significant and ongoing recruitment drive from Australian and UK employers and recruitment agencies for NZ social workers offering higher salaries and better working conditions. This is likely to continue and contribute to the NZ shortage.
Work in New Zealand is in one of the District Health Boards or private client organisations spread over both the North and South Islands, but predominantly in Auckland. Once you have successfully completed our vetting process, we will work with you to identify both the geographical and professional area(s) that suit you, your partner and your family, and then utilise our significant industry knowledge and relationships to introduce you to employers who are currently recruiting.
