Denis Flores
The General Manager and Director, Denis Flores, is a psychologist with over thirty five years' experience in selection and assessment, organisational and individual behaviour. He came to amicus after running his own organisational psychology consulting practice for 20 years.
Denis adds value to an organisation through his ability to maximise the potential of individual managers and staff through the effective linking of business strategy, corporate and team goals and individual skills.
As an experienced business manager, coach, facilitator and counsellor, he is accredited in and has designed a number of psychological assessment and organisational diagnostic tools.
Denis has a BA (Psychology and Political Science) and a post graduate Bachelor of Letters in Organisational Psychology. He was elected Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society in 2005 and was National Chair of the College of Organisational Psychologists from 2003 – 2006. He was appointed Honorary Fellow in the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Deakin University in 2006. He is registered as a specialist Organisational Psychologist and Supervisor with the Psychologists Registration Board of Australia.
Lauren Over
International Recruitment Consultant Lauren Over holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management from Swinburn University. She has travelled extensively and comes with a background working in Disability Education.
Lauren has a wealth of knowledge in helping you find your perfect role in Australia. She can assist you with advice in regards to work, housing and how your skills and experiences are transferable to Australia.
Emily Carr
Emily joined the team in April 2010. Initially was employed as an administration assistant she was quickly promoted to international recruitment consultant.
Emily handles all recruitment to the UK. If you are interested in finding social work jobs in the UK then she is your girl! She will assess your eligibility to work in the UK, advise you on potential jobs that could be found for you and help you in organizing all of your documents.
Emily completed her undergraduate degree in Arts at the University of Melbourne in 2008 and a post-graduate diploma in psychology at Australian Catholic University in 2009. She is planning on returning to studying in a few years to become a registered psychologist, but in the mean time is enjoying the challenge and experience of her new role.
Ellie Chen
Ellie Chen is the Operational Project Manager responsible for the Metro Train Driver Recruitment Project. Ellie comes from a background of Organisational Psychology and has been involved in the Metro Trains Project (previously Connex) since 2008. Her knowledge and experience in recruitment, selection and assessment has enabled her to manage each aspect of the project and to ensure the quality of candidates provided to the client.
Ellie has a Bachelor of Science (Honours in Psychology) and a Master of Organisational Psychology from Monash University.
Ellie is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia to practice as a psychologist.
